Security Manager

Vertex FM UK is currently recruiting for a Security Manager.

Job Purpose

To be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies, managing security staff, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security regulations.

Also, to oversee security operations, including monitoring security systems, responding to breaches, and investigating incidents.

As Security Manager your role will be to:

Security Strategy Development:
Developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, procedures, and programs to protect assets and personnel.
Risk Assessment:

Identifying vulnerabilities, assessing threats, and developing mitigation strategies. Staff Management:
Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating security personnel.

Security Operations:
Monitoring security systems (CCTV, alarms, etc.), responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property.

Incident Response:
Investigating security breaches, coordinating with law enforcement, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Budget Management:
Managing security budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring cost-effective security solutions.

Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific security standards.

Reporting and Analysis:
Preparing reports on security incidents, trends, and effectiveness of security measures.

Emergency Response:
Developing and implementing emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management.

Security Technology:
Evaluating, recommending, and implementing new security technologies.

Training and Education:
Providing training to staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and security awareness.

Applicants for this Security Manager role will ideally recently have been in a similar role within the security induistry and although local knowledge is not essential it is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 38,876.00-41,297.00 per year
