About the Role:

As a Security Manager! you will be responsible for:


All aspects of security contract delivery, including KPI performance, team leadership and compliance. As a leader, you will embrace the WJ values of; respect, honesty, responsibility, safety and communication in all that you do, and ensure that your team embrace and deliver these values at all times. You will create and develop a culture of performance awareness, Deliver the strategic security plan for the site, setting and meeting clear objectives which align with the overall strategy for the site. You will seek and suggest opportunities for operational efficiencies, utilising technology, systems and data to streamline operations. Ensure all invoicing is completed and is accurately on time. Where requested act as a subject-matter expert on security operations, providing advice to the client and stakeholders. Promote internal and external training and development opportunities.

What we are looking for:

Manage the safety of staff, clients and public ensuring work is planned and carried out in compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Experience leading a large, customer facing security team. Knowledge in commercial, retail and nighttime economy security management. The ability to maintain and develop positive working relationships Demonstrable experience of change management, challenging legacy behaviours and driving through positive change. A transparent work ethic, learning from feedback and using this as a mechanism for driving service standards to their fullest potential. DS/SG SIA licence Demonstrate experience in motivating teams, installing confidence and pride in their work. IOSH Managing Safety Experience in dealing with complex HR related matters and knowledge of associated legislation. An understanding of EDI, and how to embed positive inclusive behaviours into a diverse workforce. A flexible approach to working hours, ensuring that day, weekend, evening and night teams and operations are appropriately led and directed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable skills

Nebosh NGC A level 3 ILM qualification A professional qualification in the security field - CSMP, PSP or CPP
