Job Summary

Apardion are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team on Ad-Hoc basis during the

festive period

. This is currently an

ad-hoc position for the festive period

. However, there may be an opportunity for the role to become

permanent

after the festive season, depending on business needs and performance.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Working pattern is typically a 4 on 4 off, working 12 hour shifts. Dayshift and Nightshifts are available.

Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance of the premises to detect any suspicious activities. Perform routine patrols of the property to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and any incidents that occur during shifts. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Certification in first aid is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
