We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing safety protocols, and responding to incidents as they arise.
Duties
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
Monitor surveillance equipment and CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid when necessary.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.
Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security matters.
Experience
Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Familiarity with first aid practices is advantageous.
Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is desirable.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
