Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at the Tower Centre in Ballymena. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role is 35 hours per week working 4 days per week, additional hours are available onsite.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers on the mall providing excellent customer service. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain oversight of the facility. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary. Document all security-related incidents in detail and report them to the appropriate authorities. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty.

Requirements

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. A SIA licence is essential for this role Familiarity with operating CCTV systems is advantageous. Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
