Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and implementing loss prevention strategies to protect assets and ensure the safety of all individuals on site.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed. Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary until professional help arrives. Implement loss prevention measures to minimise theft and damage to property. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused at all times. Basic first aid certification is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
