Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on loss prevention and effective surveillance techniques.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as required. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage. Operate CCTV systems and maintain accurate surveillance records. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the wellbeing of individuals on-site. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security breaches. Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions.

Skills

Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques. Proficient in first aid practices, with certification preferred. Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance operations. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents accurately. A proactive attitude towards safety and security measures.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
