Security Officer - Bishopton (

Contracted Hours: 42 per week

Shifts: Days, Nights, and Weekends

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated

Relief Security Officer

to join our team in

Bishopton

. This role offers stability, professional development, and the opportunity to work within a secure and professional environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide a visible and professional security presence Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including perimeter and internal checks Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates Carry out ID and vehicle checks in line with site procedures Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies Report and record all incidents accurately in occurrence logs and systems Perform health and safety checks and report hazards or unsafe conditions Maintain vigilance to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or damage Support site staff and visitors by offering professional customer service Follow all site-specific procedures and instructions, including emergency protocols Operate security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control Liaise with emergency services when required

Qualifications

Requirements:

Valid

SIA Licence

Valid

UK Driving Licence

Must have

5 years of checkable work history

Must be able to obtain

Security Clearance (SC)

Must be a

British citizen by birth

or have held a

British passport for at least 5 years

Flexibility to work

days, nights, and weekends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
