are recruiting for a

Security Officer

to join the team based in

Rockwool, UK

. This is a

full-time, permanent

position. Four shifts on four shifts off consisting of 2 x 12 hours days (6.00am to 18.00pm days)also 2 x 12 hours nights(18.00pm to 6.00am).

The MSS Group is a specialist provider of facilities, industrial and environmental services with expertise in hazardous, highly regulated and complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

To restrict and control access to the establishment and operational buildings/areas To ensure visitor identification is validated and issued in accordance with control policy and procedures Ensure accountability for keys and passes held within the Main Gate House To be proficient in the use of the on-site computer based CCTV, Access Control and Visitor Management Systems To monitor security and fire systems and to investigate and respond to alarm activations

Qualifications and Experience:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional and polite manner at all times Proven ability to work as part of a team Be physically fit Security experience Ability to remain calm in demanding situations Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Minimum 5 year checkable work history A valid SIA Licence Willing to assist with cover shifts
