We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to while providing excellent service.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to ensure the safety of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or damage to property. Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns. Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is advantageous. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is beneficial. Certification in first aid or willingness to undergo training is required.
