Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security officer/ CCTV Operator to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be Punctual, presentable with proven time management. you will also be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, ensuring the safety and security of our client premises, and assisting in loss prevention efforts. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to respond effectively to various situations as they arise.

Duties

Monitor CCTV footage and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure all security measures are in place and functioning properly. Document incidents and prepare reports on any unusual activities or security breaches. Collaborate with management and emergency services when necessary, providing them with relevant information as required. Assist in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment.

Skills

Strong understanding of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and maintenance. Proficiency in conflict management techniques to handle difficult situations effectively. First aid, demonstrating readiness to respond to emergencies. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain focused for extended periods. monitoring of fire alarm and fire suppression systems, logging faults and investigating and escalating results shown. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external agencies.
