Job Summary

We are seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. This role requires keen observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and prevent any suspicious activities. Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and deter theft. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary until professional medical assistance arrives. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring accurate reporting. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as needed. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times. Conduct regular inspections of security equipment to ensure functionality.

Experience

SIA licence required. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous. Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals. Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour
