Job Overview:We are currently seeking a Security Officer to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through surveillance and monitoring activities. Responsibilities:- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or ensure security of doors, windows, and gates- Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances- Use CCTV monitoring equipment effectively- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional manner- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities- Perform first aid or CPR if required- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft Requirements:- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety- Familiarity with report writing- Excellent surveillance and observation skills- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems operation- First aid certification is desirable- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure If you are a dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring safety and security, we invite you to apply for this position.
