Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond to incidents promptly, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity. Operate CCTV equipment effectively, ensuring all footage is recorded and stored according to company policy. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and reporting findings as necessary. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches and implementing appropriate measures. Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on site. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities encountered during shifts. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to security threats.

Requirements

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous. Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid security licence may be required depending on local regulations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
