Job Introduction

We are currently looking to recruit a

Security Officer

to join our team at the prestigious Johnnie Walker site in central Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to be part of a professional and high-profile security operation, ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and premises. Main Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to all security and safety incidents appropriately. Patrol the premises regularly to maintain a visible presence and deter any potential risks. Control access and egress to the site, ensuring the safety of all occupants. Operate security systems, including CCTV (if qualified). Provide a professional and courteous response to any queries or incidents. Complete incident and daily activity reports as required. Support evacuation procedures and emergency response actions when necessary.

The Ideal Candidate

Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence (Essential) CCTV SIA Licence (Desirable) Proven experience in a security officer role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure A flexible approach to work with the ability to work various shifts as part of a 4 on 4 off pattern Good links to public transport (driving licence desirable due to shift times)
