Millennium Security Ltd is a Bedford based business, specialising in providing end-to-end security services across construction, infrastructure, industrial and beyond on sites throughout the UK. We're known for our rapid response, professionalism, and commitment to protecting clients' people and assets day and night. As we continue to expand in the Bedford area, we're seeking reliable, proactive, and disciplined Security Officers to join our team full-time.

Job Summary

You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across client sites in and around Bedford. The role includes both day and night shifts, with additional opportunities for overtime and future progression into Team Leader or Supervisor positions for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site patrols and perimeter checks Monitor CCTV and site access points Complete detailed incident reports and handovers Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and emergency services Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, or incidents Maintain a visible and reassuring presence on-site

Requirements

Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection) Full UK driving licence (essential - some sites require mobility between locations) Good communication and reporting skills Professional appearance and reliability Occasional travel to and from sites Ex-Military/ex-Forces, Door Supervision or Site Security (experience preferred)
