Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring the protection of property and assets while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting investigations as necessary. Maintain surveillance using CCTV systems, ensuring all footage is recorded accurately for future reference. Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or concerns. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.

Qualifications

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems, including CCTV operation. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-oriented approach. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A valid security licence may be required depending on local regulations.
