Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our Skypark team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring activities, preventing loss, and responding to incidents as they arise.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of all individuals on site. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary until emergency services arrive. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and any incidents that occur during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanour.

Requirements

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is beneficial. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A valid security licence may be required depending on local regulations CCTV licence is preferred but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
