Glevum Security are looking for a Security officer based in Gloucestershire to work across two sites, located in central Gloucester and just outside Gloucester.

30 Hour/week contract, with option for overtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Protection of Property and Premises Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate. Be focused and alert, being able to identify potential risks and take action to mitigate any threat. Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions Show a high visibility security presence, but also have a warm friendly welcoming manner to all who attend the site Undertake a collection of security duties as seen fit by the client

Job Role Requirements

Be smart and well always well presented Have a valid SIA License Be polite, helpful, and diligent with a 'can do' attitude Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Be flexible and reliable to meet the role requirements Be able to work without supervision and as a member of a team Have a full 5-year checkable work history and required documentation to be vetted
