? We're Hiring: Security Officer
? Location: Hazelwood, DE56 4AN
? Pay: 12.60 per hour
? Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - covering days, nights, weekends & bank holidays
? What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a reliable and flexible Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will:

• ? Be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle
• ? Be willing to cover overtime when needed
• ? Be available to work across all shift types including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• ? Have experience in gatehouse duties, CCTV monitoring, and site patrols
• ? Be a strong team player with good communication skills

? Requirements:

• Previous experience in security gatehouse operations and patrolling
• Familiarity with CCTV systems
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility and commitment to the role

Responsibilities
You'll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone who sees a different world-someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you'll have:

• A valid SIA licence.
• Be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle
• Previous experience in security gatehouse operations and patrolling
• Familiarity with CCTV systems
• Have experience in gatehouse duties, CCTV monitoring, and site patrols
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English-both written and spoken.
