Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols, and controlling access to the facility. You will be expected to respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities, de-escalate potential conflicts, and report incidents in accordance with company policies. The role requires maintaining detailed logs of daily activities, collaborating with law enforcement when necessary, and providing clear instructions during emergency situations such as evacuations or lockdowns.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience in a security or similar role. Excellent observational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. You must possess effective verbal and written communication skills, as you will interact with staff, visitors, and emergency responders regularly. Familiarity with basic security technology and procedures, as well as the ability to walk or stand for extended periods, is required. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to meet the needs of our organization. Successful completion of a background check and, where applicable, a valid security guard license are mandatory for this position.
