Location: Inverness, IV2 7GE (covering 2 sites, one in Inverness and one in Nairn)




Hours of work: 42




Working Pattern: Shifts are 6am - 6pm OR 6pm - 6am (rotating shift pattern, repeats every 28 days, includes days, nights and weekends)




Contract Type: Permanent




Hourly Rate: 15.00




We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Relief Officer to join our team.




As a key member of our security operations, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' sites and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and assets.


This role is ideal for an outgoing and adaptable individual who thrives on new challenges and enjoys working in different environments. You will receive training to work across a variety of sites, including corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, retail locations, and transport hubs.

The Role




Responsible for the physical security of client premises Conduct regular patrols Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action Enforce access control and verify the identity of individuals on-site Provide excellent customer service by assisting and guiding visitors Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary Ensure high standards at all times, maintaining the professional image of ISS Undertake induction and training as needed Promote a secure and safe working environment at client sites

About You




Valid SIA licence Ability to pass security clearances (SC & NPPV2) 5 years minimum residency in the UK Proven experience in security or related field Strong observational and communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Knowledge of security protocols and procedures Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights and weekends New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
