Hours:

On average 42 hrs per week, 4 on 4 off

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of Royal Priors, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Patrolling of a shopping centre including the surrounding area Performing regular health and safety checks Providing a safe environment for shoppers in all public areas Liaising with Store Managers and local authorities Regular and accurate report writing Dealing with first aid situations when they arise Carrying out any other reasonable management requests Proactive interaction with the general public offering superb customer service at all times Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the CCTV control room, to ensure that the safety and security of all stakeholders is maintained at all times Follow protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV control room and its facilities Operate a range of remote call monitoring, alarms and communication facilities contained within the control room Maintain accurate records of data recordings and events, using incident reporting software Participate in personal training and development in order to maintain an understanding of current CCTV legislation and regulations Assist the Centre Management Team and / or Police in respect of preparation of evidence as required Provide recorded media to authorised personnel Contribute to the development and enhancement of the service and control room working practices

Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence and First Aid certification A valid CCTV Licence You must be flexible Highly motivated Excellent customer service skills
