Shift Pattern/Times:

Monday - 0800 to 2000

Tuesday - OFF

Wednesday - 2000 to 0800

Thursday - 2000 to 0800

Friday - 2000 to 0600

Saturday - OFF

Sunday - 0600 to 1800

Rate/Salary: 12.60 per hour, guaranteed 58 hours per week

We have a new opportunity to join our team as a full time security officer for a large well known education client based in Horsforth, Leeds. You would be working as part of a team and managed by an onsite supervisor.

The site includes student accommodation, learning facilities, sports facilities and much more.

Please note this is a large site requiring foot patrols throughout tonight so candidates must be prepared for a lot of walking.

Your daily work will help protect our client's site, property and people including students, staff, and members of the public, resulting in a very satisfying role with significant potential.

You will be the ambassadors for our client; one of the first people that visitors, students, and staff see on arrival, setting the tone and ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Some of the duties will include:

Patrolling campus on foot providing a security presence.

Responding to incidents, noise complaints in a proactive manor.

Locking and unlocking of buildings

Responding to alarm activations around campus

Ensuring no unauthorised persons access site

Maintaining that all incidents are logged and reported

Ensuring Health and Safety polices are adhered to

Security officer requirements:

Valid Frontline SIA Licence

Physically fit enough to walk long distances through the shift

Ability to work in a team and be a team player

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

5 year+ checkable work history in line with BS 7858

Smart and presentable portraying a professional image

Ability to write clear and concise reports

Excellent time management skills

A dynamic decision maker
