We are looking for a committed, reliable and customer service focused Security Officer to join our team. You will proactively patrol our client's prestigious site ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff and customers.
The site encompasses offices, commercial, retail and restaurants unit, as well as a large public transport hub close by with the team working across front-of-house, back-of-house, loading bay and security control room.
Responsibilities:
Static and foot patrols
Assisting members of the public - providing direction and assistance as required
Providing a visual deterrent
Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
Reporting and recording onsite incidents - notifying the appropriate authorities
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
Ensuring all tasks are carried out as prescribed, including the lock and unlock of the building, patrols and checking of passes/permits, supporting the Security Supervisor and Manager and ensuring all administrative duties are completed to a high standard.
Skills/ Experience:
You can communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a high standard of verbal and written English.
You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service focused.
You are a team player.
You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
You are always well-presented
Licence Requirements:
SIA Door supervisor Licence is required
CCTV licence
Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is essential.
