Site-Based Security Manager 
 Location: On-site
 Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexibility required for evenings and weekends)
 Reports to: Operations Manager
 Responsible for: Site Supervisors & Security Officers About the Role

 We're looking for a Site-Based Security Manager to take ownership of a key client portfolio - ensuring our teams deliver first-class service, maintain the highest security standards, and exceed client expectations. 
 You'll lead from the front, managing a skilled security team, nurturing strong client relationships, and driving performance across your sites. Your focus will be on service excellence, operational efficiency, and developing your team to reach their full potential. What You'll Be Doing Customer Care & Service Excellence 
 Ensure all sites are fully staffed with trained, professional officers. 
 Build trusted relationships with clients through regular meetings, performance reviews, and proactive communication. 
 Monitor and measure performance, introducing best practices and service improvements. 
 Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery - bringing at least one added-value initiative each month. Operational & Financial Management 
 Deliver on profit and performance targets while keeping quality at the forefront. 
 Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure contractual obligations are met. 
 Resolve client issues promptly and professionally. 
 Track retention, attendance, and performance - supporting recruitment and engagement to maintain a strong, stable team. People Development 
 Provide comprehensive on-site training before officers start live shifts. 
 Mentor and develop your team, creating clear pathways for growth and progression. 
 Partner with the Training & Development Manager to maintain compliance and encourage continuous learning. 
 Conduct regular reviews and appraisals to ensure high standards and motivation. Quality, Compliance & Safety 
 Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, BS7499, BS7858, and ISO9001 standards. 
 Keep all site documentation accurate and up to date. 
 Manage disciplinary and performance processes with professionalism and consistency. 
 Maintain serviceable equipment and ensure any non-conformances are swiftly resolved. What We're Looking For 
 Proven leadership experience in the security industry. 
 Excellent client relationship and communication skills. 
 Strong organisational, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities. 
 In-depth understanding of BS7499 and BS7858 standards. 
 A hands-on manager with a passion for developing people and delivering excellence. Your Success Will Be Measured By
