Hours: 46 per week, Tuesdays and Sundays off

Wythenshawe town centre is undergoing a multi-million-pound regeneration, which will attract visitors from all the Greater Manchester area. The ideal candidate will be confident in driving the team to ensure the tenants and visitors feel safe and enjoy their shopping experience. The regeneration will see the centre introduce a leisure offer to the night-time economy driving footfall into the evening, a very exciting time to join Wythenshawe town centre.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of Wythenshawe Shopping Centre, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Patrolling of a shopping centre including the surrounding area Performing regular health and safety checks Providing a safe environment for shoppers in all public areas Liaising with Store Managers and local authorities Regular and accurate report writing Dealing with first aid situations when they arise Carrying out any other reasonable management requests Proactive interaction with the general public offering superb customer service at all times

Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence and First Aid certification - For the right candidate Westgrove may be willing to provide Training in order to obtain a licence A valid CCTV Licence is desirable You must be flexible Highly motivated Excellent customer service skills
