Job Overview:

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable

Security Officer

to protect our construction site during non-working hours (mixture of days and nights). The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of personnel, prevent unauthorized access, and safeguard materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Protection:

Monitor and patrol the construction site to prevent trespassing, theft, and vandalism.

Access Control:

Ensure only authorized personnel enter the site, checking ID and logging visitors if necessary.

CCTV Monitoring:

Observe security cameras for any suspicious activity and respond accordingly.

Incident Response:

React promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, reporting incidents as required.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure the site remains secure while following safety regulations, including fire prevention protocols.

Report Writing:

Maintain detailed logs and reports of activities, incidents, and any irregularities.

Liaison with Authorities:

Work with emergency services and site management when needed.

Requirements:

SIA Licence

(Security Industry Authority) - Essential Previous security experience, preferably on construction sites Ability to work day/night shifts independently with minimal supervision Strong observational and communication skills Basic IT skills for logging incidents and CCTV monitoring Physically fit and able to conduct regular patrols Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites is desirable
