4 on 4 off rotation 1800-0600

SALARY:

12.21 per hour

THE ROLE:



We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer for our well-established team. Taking pride in providing a professional security service to our client, you will undertake a range of duties to include:

To assist and support the security management team. Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. To ensure the studios and their customers personnel property are kept safe from theft (including theft of physical IP) at all times. Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence Always provide excellent customer service to all staff and customers. Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner within the designated response times. Perform vehicle searches when applicable & record all information. Operate, monitor, and respond to any installed security and safety systems including, intruder detection systems and fire alarms in a quick and professional manner. Control the access of visitors and contractor as instructed when manning the entry booth. To monitor and validate staff, customers, tenant, contractor, and visitor access to the site To assist the site health and safety teams by completing Isolation request and reports To assist the site health and safety teams by reporting any occurrences that could cause harm or present hazards to staff or customers while patrolling. To assist and support the site reception teams with signing in visitors and couriers. Complete several pre-determined patrols during each shift as requested. Assist the parking officer with removing vehicles from restricted areas when required. Report any insecurities, faults, spillages, damages via (Guard Tec) Assist with the locking and unlocking of buildings, demises, rooms as requested To provide a level of first aid response across the site to all customers and staff. To liaise and assist with key emergency services when required. To assist in the Control of vehicles movements across the studios including the management and enforcement of parking and allocated spaces, including unit bases. To adhere to all site emergencies and Health and Safety procedures, Respond as necessary in a quick and professional manner to all emergencies, including in the event of a fire, flood, bomb threat or instances of public protests and civil disorders. To assist the supervisor in completing regular audits of keys and systems. Operate and manage security booth for Access and egress ensuring the correct passes are allowed through the correct Barriers Monitor of CCTV cameras on the site Complete fire alarm testing on the site as per the client schedule and site restrictions. Respond to emergency on site if applicable

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:



You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service focused. You can communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English. You have good organisational and record-keeping skills. You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications. You are always well-presented.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:



You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:



You must have a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence. Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate and/or Fire Marshal is desirable. Full UK Drivers Licence required.

START DATE:

Immediate upon successful completion of screening.

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:



Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
