Pay Rates

: 12.51 per hour, 21.03ph (nights & evenings)

Shift Patterns

: 4 days on, 4 days off / Days & Evenings / 0700 - 1900 with rotation 1900 - 0700.

Key responsibilities include:

Initial contact regarding reports of crime, ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed, gathering information and using judgment and appropriate questioning to obtain relevant information to ensure investigations can be completed successfully. Record all adverse incidents on the Trust Datix software. Check CCTV coverage, investigating any security breaches appropriately, reporting and recording image data and securing data in accordance with department procedures, recognising and adhering to the Data Protection Act and all Trust policies concerning privacy, confidentiality and information governance. Undertake patrols and secure buildings, set security alarms across the site as required. Administer the issuing and receipt of all in-house system bleeps/alarm handsets. Manage keys, obtaining signatures for the issuing of authorized keys, fobs and passes in line with procedural requirements.

What you'll need:

Ability to communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors.

Experience of working within security for at least 2 years.

Respect for confidentiality and handling sensitive issues.

Knowledge of security procedures and conflict management.

SIA license is required
