Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, visitors, and property. Your primary responsibilities will include patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, and controlling access points to prevent unauthorized entry or suspicious activities. You will be expected to respond promptly to alarms or incidents, investigate disturbances, and report any irregularities such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences. Additionally, you may be required to provide clear directions and assistance to individuals within the premises, as well as enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
The ideal candidate for this role must have a keen eye for detail, excellent observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, though not mandatory. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de-escalate conflicts and interact professionally with people from diverse backgrounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and candidates must be able to pass a background check. Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods are essential, as is the willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
