Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Your primary duties will include patrolling assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion, monitoring surveillance equipment, and controlling access at building entrances and vehicle gates. You will be responsible for responding promptly to alarms and investigating disturbances, as well as reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches. Additionally, you will provide assistance to visitors and employees, ensuring they feel safe and supported while on site.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, but not required. You must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for documenting incidents and interacting with a diverse range of people. A valid security license, clean background check, and the physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods are required.
