14:00 to 23:00, Monday to Sunday, on a 4 on / 4 off rota

Pay Rate:

14.50 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and proactive Security Officer to join our growing team in Oundle. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across several high-profile corporate and horticultural sites, ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out regular patrols and respond promptly to incidents Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records Engage positively with students, staff, and visitors, delivering excellent customer service Manage and de-escalate inappropriate behaviour in a calm and professional manner Operate and monitor alarm and access systems (training provided) Lock and secure campus buildings at designated times Work closely with the Security Site Lead to maintain operational standards

Skills and Experience

Valid SIA Licence (essential) Full UK driving licence (essential) Professional appearance and conduct at all times Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confident using PC and Excel-based systems Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
