Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of a construction site in the Penrith area. If you are a vigilant individual with a passion for ensuring the well-being of others, we would like to hear from you.

Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff when needed
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Skills:
- Proficient in surveillance techniques
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and visitors
- First aid certification is desirable

The right candidate must hold a valid in date SIA licence in either door supervisor or security guarding and pass 5 year vetting & screening including right to work checks.

Start date approx. 10/11/2025
Temporary Contract: 3-5 weeks
