Responsibilities

Authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter theft and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Monitor CCTV systems to observe activities within the facility and surrounding areas, promptly addressing any suspicious behavior. Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency services as necessary. Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities during your shift. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and protect company assets. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety of individuals in distress. Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques. Proficiency in first aid and CPR certification is essential for immediate response capabilities. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and conflict management practices to safeguard assets and personnel. Military experience is a plus, providing valuable skills in discipline and situational awareness. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse groups of people. Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions during emergencies. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
