We are looking for a Security Officer to join us at our client site in Shetland..

Our client is a large financial institution so if you have experience from the corporate side of security this would be beneficial.



As a Security and Services Officeryou are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Security Officer



Manage and monitor the Access Control System Control access of all staff, guests, visitors and contractors to the site in compliance with client policy Ensure the management of lost and found property is conducted regularly and accurately, ensuring all items retained are accounted for and passed to Police if not claimed within 1 month Ensure all Health and Safety objectives are complied with and all HSE observations are recorded in the client reporting system Ensure that all staff, guests, visitors and contractors are dealt with in a polite and customer-focused manner

Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team. DS SIA Licence Deliver excellent customer service Excellent IT Skills, including use of Microsoft packages Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team
