The role entails carrying out security related duties on the site of a well-established members club and event venue, while providing a 5 star, customer focussed service.

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, we are seeking candidates with significant security experience, ideally in a corporate and front of house environment. The successful candidate will be able to positively integrate with an established security team, and have the interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments, and engage positively with the client, contractors, members, visitors and VIPs.

Duties

To comply with all duties as outline in the site assignment instructions and client issued procedures. Including but not limited to:

Access management including gatehouse operations. Visitor and contractor management, ID checks and pass issuing, utilise Visitor management system. Carry out internal and external foot patrols. Provide a visible deterrent and remain vigilant at all times. Incident response and reporting, ensure all Security Incident/Loss/Accident Reports are completed in a timely manner. Compliance with Emergency Procedures and Emergency Response Team. CCTV and BMS alarm response and controls. Have a working knowledge of H&S, with the ability to assess and report potential safety hazards so that remedial action may be taken. Support the client and suppliers during large events, with VIP attendance. Excellent customer service skills, experience working in a corporate environment or in a front of house role is highly desirable. Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) to identify suspicious activity and ensure the safety of all areas. Have a polite and professional attitude to internal and external customers. The ability to work independently or as a team, lone working will be part of this role. Accountable and responsible, understanding your critical role as first response in protecting the property and assets. Calm under pressure, ability to respond and escalate matter according to procedure. Respond to ad hoc management and client set tasks as required. Undertake regular training to ensure expert knowledge of the site procedures. Must be computer literate. Excellent level of English both written and spoken. 3 year minimum experience in the security industry or compatible work experience, such as military or policing background. Applicant must hold valid SIA Licence. Flexibility with shifts and willingness to undertake overtime.

Pay: 14.97 per hour
