We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to join our team and help ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and controlling access points to prevent unauthorized entry. Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you inspect property for potential security risks, enforce company policies, and respond promptly to alarms or incidents. You will also be expected to write accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, and collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent observational and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Previous experience as a security officer or in a similar role is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is essential, and applicants must be able to pass a background check. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with colleagues, visitors, and management. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
