We are recruiting for a

Security Officer

to join our team at the FedEx site in Kingsbury. This is a key role where you will help protect a busy logistics facility, support day-to-day operations, and provide reassurance to staff, contractors, and visitors.

Your Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will:


Carry out both internal and external patrols across the site. Control site access, ensuring vehicles, lorries, and visitors are booked in and out correctly. Monitor site activity, raising and reporting concerns in line with procedures. Provide a professional first point of contact for staff, contractors, and visitors. Write accurate reports and maintain detailed records and logs. Support health and safety compliance across the site. Assist site operations with clear communication and practical support. Respond promptly to incidents, remaining calm and professional at all times. Work a rota that may include nights and weekends. Deliver a visible, approachable, and reassuring presence at all times.

About You

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:


A valid SIA licence (essential). Previous experience in a security role (desirable but not required - training will be given). Good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work confidently under pressure. A reliable, professional, and courteous manner. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. Strong teamwork skills while being comfortable working independently. A proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
