ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of Security Officer, your key focus will be to:
ensure a safe and secure environment and demonstrate a positive and professional approach towards guests, visitors and colleagues
greet and welcome guests and visitors, control access
carry out regular checks to prevent theft of personal property of guests
carry out lobby presence and patrol within the property
deal with undesirable behaviour
manage access control and locker facilities for colleagues
liaise with hotel security team, police, licensing inspectors and any other authorities if and when necessary
fulfil the role of Fire Marshal in the event of a fire incident or fire alarm activation
ABOUT YOU
previous experience within a similar role
current SIA Door Supervisor license
excellent customer service skills
great observation and monitoring skills
ability to be assertive in any situation in a professional way
ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of the Security team
