Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment across our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities

Conduct regular surveillance patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or irregularities. Monitor CCTV systems continuously to oversee activity and respond promptly to any suspicious behaviour. observing and deterring theft or vandalism. Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical incidents, by administering first aid if necessary. Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Enforce access control procedures by checking identification and managing visitor sign-in protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required. Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or damages.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is advantageous. First aid certification is desirable to effectively respond to medical emergencies. Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential threats or irregularities. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, visitors, and emergency services. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
