Security Officer

Delivering a professional and reassuring presence within the Town Centre of Trowbridge and Devizes by providing frontline customer service with the view of reducing levels of crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB), reducing the fear of crime and increasing public reassurance. Working on behalf of and in conjunction with Wiltshire Crime Commissioner (PCC), Wiltshire Police and other agencies our ASB Hotspot Community Warden team will work to deliver safer and more pleasant Town Centres.

13.75 per Hour, 40 hours a week + training + pension

Main Responsibilities:

Provide a visible, alert and smart presence within Trowbridge and Devizes Undertake routine foot and vehicle patrols as required Respond to and manage incidents efficiently and effectively Liaise with local businesses and other stakeholder as required Utilise dedicated technology which includes, but is not limited to, body worn CCTV cameras, handheld radios, mobile applications, digital evidence management software and patrol timekeeping systems Liaise with police, client representatives and other agencies as necessary

Details:

40 hrs per week working a varied shift pattern of afternoons and evenings between Tuesday and Saturday Extensive training given to those suitable to become an Accredited Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) Officer
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.06 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
