Bouygues Energies and Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to join our Security Solutions team at the Paragon Student Lets site in Brentford.

This is a permanent role working 24 hours per week, from 07:00 to 19.00, Saturdays and Sundays only.

This role offers an opportunity to develop your career within security with many other opportunities existing across our wider Security team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further their career in FM by gaining experience in a highly professional and corporate environment. Since we are always looking to grow the Services our company provides there are plenty of opportunities to develop and progress within our global organisation.

Key Activities:

  • Reports to the Security Manager
  • To guard and patrol the site, undertake front of house duties, escort visitors, etc
  • To ensure access control, visitor monitoring and booking systems are complied with
  • To use surveillance equipment, and monitor fire and intruder system
  • To monitor entrances and exits by patrolling and the use of surveillance equipment
  • Be the first point of contact in the event of an incident or emergency
  • Working 24 hours per week, from 07:00 to 19.00, Saturdays and Sundays only
Skills & Qualifications:
  • SIA Licence essential; CCTV licence desirable
  • Must have good working experience in the security industry
  • Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people
  • IT literacy desirable (MS Office)
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and capable of working alone without supervision
  • Ability to act appropriately under pressure is crucial as may be required to act in critical incidents
  • Must be client focused and able to represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
  • Possession of a full valid UK driving licence and Government Clearance would be an advantage
