Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to detect and respond to suspicious activities. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and minimise theft. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any relevant information for management review. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required during investigations or emergencies. Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security matters.

Skills

Proficient in operating CCTV and surveillance systems. Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security risks. Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to administer basic medical assistance. Experience in loss prevention techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
