3 Days 3 Nights 3 off Avg 56hrs per week


Unitrust Protection Services (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Security Officer to join our team. The role would involve you being trained on a number of sites across our London portfolio but primarily based on one site based on shift availability.

Role:

Working within this Central London building and a prestigious environment in the West End, your primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises and property, protecting the reputation of the client/tenants throughout.


You will support the delivery of a truly exceptional customer journey for both staff and visitors. To achieve this, you will be/become well versed in the processes and practices of a Security professional. Excellence in customer service will be at the heart of the role. You will be part of a well drilled security operation.


To ensure synergy across our service providers, we work with a 'one team' approach to successfully deliver an excellent customer journey so in this role you will work closely with construction staff, cleaning, maintenance and on-site management. Which will in order to provide an environment which is welcoming and relaxed yet safe and secure at all times.

Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors Take an active interest in, and give commitment to the client and tenants Ensure that the environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks or challenges Be accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face to face or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional and respectful Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and information is paramount Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in the facilitation of their safe execution and practice. There may also be a need to become a fire marshal, training will be provided Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by the onsite management or other Senior Manager, either Unitrust or at the request of the Client and/or tenants To support internal and external audit processes from Unitrust Security representatives, Client/Tenant Representatives, the SIA, any other relevant body with a relevant interest and valid reason for inspection or compliance checks To act with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant and ethical manner To be resilient to working in the most sensitive environments, dealing with any conflict with a respectful and empathic approach at all times Be prepared to manage a wide variety and diversity of scenarios, people and challenges Act in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures and our Code of Conduct

Essential Skills:

Excellent oral, written communication skills, interpersonal skills and confidence Exceptional customer service skills Reliable, trustworthy and punctual Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to help solve problems and overcome challenges Self-confidence and an interest in self-development. Physically able to conduct all responsibilities associated with the roles documented Ability to work to instruction and on your own initiative where required Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office programmes Demonstrate an awareness of security threats which remain relevant and up to date in the context of the current environment Flexibility in regard to working practices, hours and responsibilities. Enhanced communication, listening and customer service skills or the ability to train, obtain, retain and develop further in this field. Operation of CCTV/access control communications in an appropriate manner Flexibly and knowledge across all positions within the contract
