Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing unauthorized access, and responding promptly to emergencies. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various security situations professionally.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect suspicious activity. Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the facility. Enforce security protocols by checking identification and authorizations of personnel and visitors. Respond swiftly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and addressing theft or vandalism. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques. Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred. Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirable. Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively. Good communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public. Pay: 12.21-15.53 per hour
