Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidates will play be happy to work on a casual contact, working at event venues throughout the Liverpool region.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary until further assistance arrives. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies will be beneficial. First aid certification is highly desirable; training may be provided if necessary. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
