About the role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Security Operations Manager to take the lead on all aspects of physical security across a major programme of works. This is a critical role ensuring the safety, integrity, and smooth running of our project sites, including construction enclaves, site offices, and welfare facilities.
What you'll be doing

• Overseeing physical security across multiple sites, including CCTV and specialist security measures.

• Managing access control systems, including MSite facial recognition technology.

• Leading, coordinating, and supervising security officers and contracted teams.

• Responding to and managing incidents, investigations, and reporting.

• Carrying out regular security risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures.

• Working with logistics and programme leads to embed security into wider project operations.

• Delivering daily inductions, security briefings, and driving a strong security culture.

• Ensuring compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory standards.

Who we're looking for

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proven experience managing physical security within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

• Background in military, law enforcement, or private security (preferred).

• Good knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operations, and incident management.

• Experience delivering training and fostering security awareness across teams.

• Understanding of health and safety standards in a construction setting.
