Security Receptionist
Based - Raynesway, Derby
Hours - 40hrs Monday to Friday. Between 7am -4pm

Role Purpose
A security-focused receptionist who oversees clearance verification for our client Rolls-Royce for multiple secure facilities. You will be responsible for processing security clearances, validating personnel credentials, and maintaining rigorous security protocols while delivering professional customer service.
You will oversee secure reception operations, validate security clearances for all personnel, and support the security team in controlling facility access. This includes processing visitors for business meetings and managing security-sensitive requirements.
Your key skills will include clearance validation, stakeholder communication, and supporting personnel, clients, contractors and visitors with their security requirements. Successfully identifying and resolving clearance issues will be essential to maintaining facility security.
What This Job Involves

• Deliver security clearance validation while maintaining rigorous security protocols
• Experienced in Reception ideally gained within a corporate environment.
• Oversee shared inbox and respond to various vetting queries
• Conduct security clearance validation across multiple sites
• Validate personnel security clearances and issue security passes to external personnel and contractors
• Work within standardised security vetting procedures across all corporate facilities
• Produce monthly statistics and reports
• Process personnel security requests through Security Vetting Systems
• Ability to build positive relations with colleagues, guests and clients.
• Able to interact with all levels of personnel, including Senior Executives within the client organisation.

Person Specification

• Experience in security vetting is not essential, but you'll need to demonstrate enthusiasm and aptitude for developing a career within security administration in a dynamic front of house environment
• Precise and prompt data entry capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail)
• Outstanding time management and organisational abilities with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks with varying deadlines
• Exceptional communication capabilities, with a personable nature and determination to excel in a fast-paced and forward-thinking business development environment
• Be prepared to attend relevant training as required
