AC Leigh is a leading provider of access control and security solutions across East Anglia. We deliver high-quality installation and maintenance services for commercial clients, covering access control, CCTV, and automatic gates, doors, and barriers.

We're now looking for an experienced and fully qualified Security Service Engineer to join our established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a varied and rewarding role with long-term career potential.

Role Responsibilities

As a Security Service Engineer, you will:

Independently install, service, maintain, and repair:
- Access control systems
- CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
- Automatic doors, gates, and barriers

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently

Interpret and work from technical drawings and system documentation

Liaise directly with clients and deliver high standards of customer service

Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards

Accurately complete job reports and maintain service records

Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience in security systems service and maintenance

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

Full UK driving licence

Valid right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Industry-recognised qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ, FIA, SSAIB, etc.)

Experience with Salto, Paxton, Hikvision, Videx, FAAC, BPT, etc.

Knowledge of relevant British Standards (e.g., BS EN 16005, BS 7671)
